Value Added Processes:

In addition to standard injection molding, World Class Plastics, Inc. conducts various other processes in house to meet customer expectations. These processes include assembly, pad printing, ultrasonic staking, insert molding, and decorating. Chrome plating and painting are completed externally through the use of key suppliers.

 

Whenever possible these value added processes are set up at the injection molding machine to reduce waste in the process. WCPI builds fixtures and automation to support internal processes, and has been successful in fully automating the assembly of hole plugs and stoppers.

 

Some products are assembled by hand, such as seat levers, automotive cup holders, ventilation outlets, and side-shield covers. Often these assemblies involve multiple components and processes such as ultrasonic staking and label application. Insert molded products include wire harnesses, shift knobs, brackets, and horn pads.
