Handles, inspects, assembles and packages product in the production area in accordance with process Instructions, answers alarms, maintains housekeeping.
Maintains a safe work environment and reports any safety concerns in accordance with the safety procedures.
Performs other tasks as required
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The Associate is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch. The Associate must regularly lift up to 55 pounds and occasionally move more than 100 pounds with mechanical assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The Associate is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
